Client photo uploads
Clients with portal access can upload photos directly to a job. Useful for showing you the problem before you arrive on site.
How it works
- The client opens their portal link.
- They navigate to the relevant job.
- They click Upload Photo and select images from their phone or computer.
- Photos appear in the job's Photos tab with the category "Client Upload".
- Client uploads appear alongside your own photos in the job's Photos tab.
- You can add notes or change the category of client-uploaded photos.
- Delete photos if they're not relevant.
- Before a callout: ask the client to upload photos of the issue so you know what tools and materials to bring.
- During a warranty claim: the client can document the defect with photos.
- After completion: clients can confirm the finished work looks good.
You get notified
When a client uploads a photo, you receive a notification in TradeFlow. If push notifications are enabled, you'll get an alert on your phone.
