Building your price book
The price book is your library of common items and services. Build it once and quoting becomes a 30-second job.
Adding items
- Go to Price Book → + New Item.
- Set name (e.g. "Standard mixer tap installation"), unit price, optional SKU.
- Pick a category (Labour, Material, Subcontract, Other).
- Pick a unit (each, hour, m, m², m³, etc.).
- Add a description that becomes the line item text on quotes.
- Optional: set a cost price to track margins.
Using on quotes/invoices
When adding a line item to a quote or invoice, start typing the description. We suggest matching price book items with their price and description pre-filled.
Bulk import via CSV
Got an existing pricelist in a spreadsheet? Use Price Book → Import CSV. Required columns: name, unit_price. Optional: description, sku, category, unit. Existing items with matching SKU are updated.
