Importing price book via CSV

Got an existing pricelist in a spreadsheet? Bulk import it instead of adding items one by one.

Steps

1. Go to Price Book → Import CSV.
2. Download the template CSV if you need the correct column format.
3. Prepare your file with these columns:

Required: name, unit_price

Optional: description, sku, category, unit

1. Upload your CSV file.
2. Review the preview. Fix any errors flagged.
3. Click Import.

Duplicate handling

If an item with the same SKU already exists, it gets updated with the new data. Items without a matching SKU are created as new entries.

Tips

• Save your spreadsheet as CSV (UTF-8) for best results.
• Category values: Labour, Material, Subcontract, Other.
• Unit values: each, hour, m, m², m³, kg, L, day, week, lot.
